I have seen a warning that my international payment is using the ‘Swift network’. What does this mean? 

When paying in Euros to an account that is located outside of the Eurozone, transfers will have to go through the Swift network. This is a more costly process and as such, Wise charges a higher fee to cover this. Additionally, as intermediary banks may be involved, there might be additional fees deducted from the funds you send. But don’t worry, fees will be displayed clearly on the ‘Review details’ page when creating a transfer so you always know the amount you will be charged by Wise.
