What are Savings Pot boosts?

We’ve introduced a new way for you to get an even better rate, with our Savings Pot boosts! 

Savings Pot boosts allow you to boost the rate you earn on cash in your Savings Pot. Any boosts you unlock will be added to the standard variable base rate Allica offers on our Savings Pot.  
 
You can unlock more than one boost at a time and add them together, helping your cash to work extra hard.  
 
If you have more than one Business Rewards Account, any boost you unlock will automatically be applied to the Savings Pot linked to the account that unlocked it. 
 
The current boosts available are: 

  1. Bank Transfer Boost – make 15 bank transfers from a Business Rewards Account in one calendar month and each month you do you’ll automatically unlock a 0.50% boost for the next month. If you’re on the FSB Bonus Interest Rate, you’ll receive a 0.25% boost. You can find eligible payments types here
  2. Switching Boost – got a business bank account with another bank? Switch it to Allica with the Current Account Switch Service (CASS) and unlock a six-month 0.50% boost to your Savings Pot. Don’t worry if you’re not ready to move everything over to us quite yet. You can also make a ‘partial switch’ from another account, transferring over only selected payments.
  3. Welcome Boost – open a Savings Pot and add £50,000 or more within your first 14 days and get a 0.25% Boost* for the following three months, just for joining us.

 

*Open a Business Rewards Account and a Savings Pot, deposit £50,000 or more within 14 days of receiving your welcome email and enjoy a 0.25% Welcome Boost on everything you hold in your Savings Pot. The boost applies only to funds kept in the Savings Pot. Your boost lasts for 3 months, starting on the 1st of the following month. To qualify, you’ll need to open your account, set up your Savings Pot, and deposit at least £50,000 before 31st May 2026. This offer is available to new Business Rewards Account customers only. Each business can hold more than one Business Rewards Account, but the Welcome Boost applies only to the first account opened with Allica Bank.
