What happens if I fall below the minimum average balance?

The standard interest rate on our Savings Pot is currently 3.08% AER* (variable). If the average balance in your Business Rewards Account and linked Savings Pot in a month is below the £40,000 minimum, you will earn the following rate the next month: 

We’ll always let you know at the start of the month if you fell below the minimum balance the previous month and your interest rate has changed. 

*‘AER’ stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and illustrates what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and compounded once a year.
