What if I can’t access my camera for the liveness check?

If you are receiving the following message “We are unable to access your webcam to start liveness detection” there are a few things you can try: 

  • Check your browser settings to make sure the browser has permission to access your web camera 
  • Check that your web camera is not being used by any other application e.g. Zoom while you are completing your liveness check  
  • If you’re using an iPhone do not use Google Chrome as your browser 
  • You can switch devices e.g. from a laptop to your phone if none of the above work
