Why have my account details changed?

Some savings customers have had their account details - both the sort code and account number - changed recently. This is due to system improvements we are making that will allow us to provide a faster and more intuitive service to you. As part of this process, however, we are required to provide you with a new account number and sort code.

To help protect you from fraud, we will not send your new account details to you by email. Instead, you’ll be able to find them by logging into online banking with your usual username and password.

Where applicable, it's important that you use these new details when making any further deposits into your account. Any money sent to your old account details may be returned to the account that sent the payment.

The change will not affect how you access your account, the amount of interest you earn, or the terms and conditions of your account. Your savings will also remain fully secure with us and protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme throughout the process.
