There’s two things you need to do to sync your Allica Bank current account or Savings Pot with Xero.
First, you will need to create bank accounts on your Xero dashboard. This is where your Allica Bank transactions will appear. If you’d like to connect both your current account and Savings Pot, you will need to do this twice. To do so, follow these steps:
- From your Xero dashboard, select the ‘Accounting’ tab and click ‘Add bank account.
- On the next page, select ‘Add without bank feed’ in the top-right corner. (Do this instead of searching for Allica in the search bar.)
- Fill in the details about the account you’re connecting. In the ‘Account name’ field, we recommend specifying if it’s your current account or Savings Pot you’re connecting. Then select ‘Add account’.
Next, you’ll need to set up the connection from your Allica Bank online banking (you can’t currently do this using our app). To do so:
- Log in to your Allica Bank account at at www.allica.bank. Select the account you want to sync to Xero and click on ‘Manage account’.
- Under ‘Apps and integrations’, find Xero and select ‘Connect now’ and on the next screen click ‘Connect’. You will then be prompted to log in to your Xero account.
- From the drop-down menu, choose ‘Allica Bank’ and select ‘Allow access’.
- Next, you can choose which bank account in your Xero account you want to sync your Allica Bank transactions to. This is what you set up in your Xero account earlier. Once you have done so, click ‘Connect’ next to each account you’re connecting.
Your chosen accounts should now be synced with Xero, with transactions from the last 90 days showing in the bank account you just set up. After this initial sync, transactions will be updated once daily.
